As well as being an author for Doctor Who, Mike works as a special effects expert, initially fir the BBC's Visual Effects Department but latterly as an independanr Effects Supervisor. As well as Doctor Who, Mike has written novellisations for the TV series Merlin.
He often co-authors books with Robert Perry.
