Ms Tepper started her genre publishing career with a selection of poems published under her then married name of Sheri S Eberhart in 1963. She then stopped writing until she was in her 50s. Her first written novel was The Revenants though it was not the first to be published, this being King's Blood Four. As well as pure Fantasy and Science Fantasy, Ms Tepper has had several well received books in the horror genre.
